Mantra

stevenrosas:

Ever heard a girl say even after every bad thing he’s done to me, every lie he’d ever told, every girl he’d ever kissed, I knew somewhere deep down inside he really did love me, in his own messed up way. I just love him, I don’t know what it is about him. That’s the number one mistake ladies, taking someone back when you’re trust in them is gone, completely gone. Second chances are okay, depending on the situation but how many times will you take someone back after they have crossed the line? What is trust? Trust is an earned, unspoken, continual agreement between two individuals that should never under any circumstances, be initiated out of or confused for Love. You can love someone and not have any trust in them. Remember trust isn’t just telling people secrets and stuff, its knowing that when you give them your heart they have somewhat of a responsibility to take care of it. You have the choice to walk away when he cheats on you for some other girl. You have the choice at the end of the day to set the line on how you deserve to be treated. Trust your struggle, even if it seems somewhat impossible, trust that you are going to end up where you need to be. <3

I just wish you lived closer. I’m at war with the distance between us.

stevenrosas:

You have to over come your fears of being hurt and let go. Fear can stop us from following our dreams, taking chances, and allowing ourselves to be happy. Allowing fear to control your life is equivalent to accepting failure. Realizing just how powerful and limiting our fears can be is a vital step to taking back control of our lives. I know you are afraid of loving again and letting someone in, but you can’t be. Fear is like having an absence of love, just as darkness is an absence of light. When we turn on a light, the darkness simply cannot exist. Likewise, if we can illuminate our fear with pure love, the fear cannot help but vanish.
Love can take many forms, but the essence is the same. It is a pure emotion, the most natural emotion in the world. Instead of worrying about those layers of fear that keep us from experiencing an abundance of love, look deeper into your soul for the tiniest glimpse of that love. It is there, no matter how deeply buried, and if you can just catch sight of this emotion, you can begin to allow that love to grow and you can begin to accept it from someone else. Once you have found even the smallest flicker of love, don’t let it go. This is the essence of happiness, freedom from fear, and everything that you wish to experience in your life.
Ignore your fears as much as you can, they don’t deserve your interest. In fact, many fears, doubts, and worries don’t need attention. We often feed our fears by worrying about them. Turn that focus and energy onto the emotion that will best serve you throughout your life. The more you experience love in your life, the more that fear will leave. This quote sums it up beautifully, “Love is what we were born with. Fear is what we learned here.” To consciously rediscover love can show us how to overcome fear by allowing the lessons of love to unravel and letting the fear of it fade away. <3

"I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close."
– Pablo Neruda (via love-hopes)
